The Financial Conduct Authority issued 412 alerts about unauthorised crypto financial promotions in the first quarter of 2026, a 38 percent increase year-on-year, according to the regulator's quarterly bulletin published Friday.\n\nThe alerts cover firms and individuals marketing crypto products to UK consumers without the required FCA authorisation. The regulator said social-media-driven affiliate marketing remained the most common vector and that it had referred several promoters to the National Crime Agency.
